Originally published on the blog I started for my bookkeeping biz, but in my heart, this post belongs here at My Remembering Place! So here it is. 🙂

I’ve started creating a new relationship in my life.

I’ve met someone, her name is Rose.

And you might be surprised to know it, but Rose isn’t like us.

She’s patient, easy going, and approachable.  She listens and takes notes.  She makes me smile.

Even when she’s doing nothing other than sitting there.  Waiting.

I’ve made Rose a promise, and I don’t make promises I don’t intend to keep.  I’ve promised her I’ll spend at least a little time with her, daily.

She’s going to help me work out my creative dreams.  She’s going to hold my hand while I sort this next round of blending out for myself.

I’m really overjoyed to introduce her to you.

Rose, she’s my brand spankin’ new MacBook Pro.

And she’s already made another new friend, just hours out of the box!  Jenny (Mona Grayson‘s MacBook) was kind enough to say “Hello!” and offer both me and her some relationship guidance.

So here’s to making room for creative time and space in your life too!

Just in case you’re wondering, yes. I do realize that I’m writing about things that appear to be entirely disconnected from my business and the premise of this blog.  I’m just awaiting the arrival of my incredible newly designed website, which will be birthed into this world by my beloved friend and website midwife, Leah Creates.

I’m just not patient enough to stop posting between now and then.  🙂
