- System is co-created with you - While there's a fundamental foundation, every aspect of the monthly system is co-created with you, because you get the most benefit out of a personalized system. If you want to highlight your bank statements and send them via snail mail, that's perfect for us. If you want us to log on and download your statements for you, consider it done! If you're not into e-mail and would prefer us to call you and ask you any questions that come up during our monthly processing of your books, anticipate that the phone will ring! We will make your system work for you, however is easiest for you.
- Story Behind the Numbers Report - We provide basic reports, plus additional reports tailored to your business, via e-mail. Each business has its own unique needs and we'll make sure your business's circumstances are reflected in the reports packet you receive each month. Pricing
Our prices really do vary, depending on what you need done. Every client gets a custom quote, because every business is different. Our monthly package rates vary based on number of bank and credit card accounts, how many checks you tend to write, whether you take online payments, and so on.
But, we can tell you that the prices range from the simplest self-employed business at about $200/month, to a much more complex small business with a dozen employees and many different accounts paying about $700/month--which is less than 25% of having to hire a full-time bookkeeper. Our average client pays in the $300-$500/month range.
We do charge a one-time Set Up Fee that is equal to one month's fee. The Set Up Fee allows us to spend time getting to know you and your unique business and also covers a thorough review of your current books (for example, your QuickBooks file, if you have one for your business already).
We also offer a premium version of our monthly bookkeeping service that includes a monthly coaching session via telephone to review your monthly reports and provide guidance and feedback. We answer your questions and provide turn-by-turn instructions based on the road map provided by your Story Behind the Numbers Report.
Most of our clients choose the premium service for the first 3 to 6 months so they can really go the distance with this new solution within their business. We work with you, one-on-one via telephone, to help you really learn the language of the story behind the numbers.
