Sandra Trca-Black
Assistant Extraordinaire
 Sandra Trca-Black is Jessica's right hand. To call her Jessica's assistant is an understatement. Sandra's role within Heart Based Bookkeeping is driven by a partnership relationship and her contributions are invaluable.
Sandra is a graduate of AssistU and the founder of Alloy Virtual Assistance. Her administrative background is diverse and she is passionate about supporting others in their success. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Iowa State University and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Simpson College, Sandra's diverse fields of study contribute to her incredibly well rounded nature and broad insights into the world of small business and virtual assistance.
Sandra lives near Ames, Iowa with her husband, son, and their dog. Sandra's incredible gifts have greatly contributed to the growth and success of Heart Based Bookkeeping! You can read more about Sandra on her Alloy VA website: About Sandra.
Angela Richard
Bookkeeping Services Coordinator
 Angela is the team member who oversees the monthly retainer division of the company. Her natural skills of attention to detail and seeing projects through to completion are amazing assets to Heart Based Bookkeeping.
Angela is passionate about assisting entrepreneurs and small business owners and she was the founder of her own small business in 2004. Angela's former business, Clutterologie, focused on assisting small businesses and home offices with organization. Her knack for keeping things in order is key within her role at Heart Based Bookkeeping.
Angela is a graduate of Northwestern University (Journalism) and she holds an MBA in Business Administration from Simmons College. Between getting her undergraduate and graduate degrees, Angela served in the United States Navy. She served on two ships during her time in the service - one as an engineering officer and the other as the ship's navigator.
Angela lives in Quincy, Massachusetts. With Angela's extensive Naval background, I like to say she keeps the ship sailing here at Heart Based Bookkeeping!
Jessica Daly
Senior Accountant
Jessica Daly is our Senior Accountant and she specializes in overseeing our more complex client accounts. One of the greatest advantages to running a virtual business is that it doesn't matter where our staff members are located. We can find talent anywhere!
Jessica is a Cum Laude graduate of Merrimack College with a Bachelor's in Accounting and has worked for a variety of corporations during her career, including Staples. After the birth of her daughter in 2007, Jessica decided to focus on providing accounting services to small businesses so she could spend precious time with her daughter. When Jess and Jess met, they both had newborn daughters at home and within their first phone conversation, developed an immediate connection!
Jessica lives in Pepperell, Massachusetts with her husband, daughter, and their dog. Jessica is affectionately known by her full name here at Heart Based Bookkeeping, in order to avoid confusion with the "original" Jessica.
Maria LaSalvia-Carchidi
Full Charge Bookkeeper
As Heart Based Bookkeeping's original team member, Maria has been working with Jessica since 2006. Always ready to lend a helping hand however she can, Maria is an integral member of our team.
She, along with Angela Richard, oversees the work of our virtual team and provides outstanding assistance in all matters related to processing our clients' work. Maria has a background in accounting, bookkeeping, and customer service and is known for always striving to do her very best to help others.
As a Phi Theta Kappa graduate of Newbury College, Maria's Associates Degree in Accounting has given her an outstanding background for the work she does within Heart Based Bookkeeping. Her ability to spot problem areas and ask questions has been instrumental in the creation of an outstanding team environment within our company.
Maria lives in Norwood, Massachusetts with her husband and two sons. Like Jessica, Maria loves to walk and she enjoys working from home and in an office that's just a short walk from her house.
